Whatever definition of 'mindfulness' your search engine spat out of the web - is just a definition, a string of words.

Whatever you heard about mindfulness - that it reduces stress, calms the mind, brings more compassion and kindness into your life - might be true... For the person who told you this and for many people who participated in research studies, which proved all of those statements with rigorous scientific methods :)

But what does it mean for you? What is your definition? Mindfulness, like life, cannot be fully described by words or understood through other peoples' opinions. It has to be experienced, lived and embraced in all its ups and downs, in every moment.
