Then the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course might be just for you :)

MBSR - what is it?

  • Developed by neuroscientists from the University of Massachusetts Medical School led by
    Prof. Jon Kabat-Zinn, used widely in healthcare and under research since 1990s.

  • Joins thousands-years-old meditation practices, movement and body awareness with modern neuroscience.

  • During 8 weekly meetings of 2.5h and the Day of Mindfulness the participants:

    • practice different types of meditation, body scan and gentle movement,

    • observe their behavioural patterns (especially in response to stress!),

    • learn better methods of self-regulation,

    • have time to share their experience in the group.

  • Some of the topics we will explore: mindfulness in communication and at work, body awareness, perception and response to (un)pleasant events.

  • To deepen the practice at home the participants get 4 audio recordings and a few reading and journaling tasks.

  • Number of participants: min. 6, max. 16.

  • Language: English, German or Polish
